We left our house around 5am in the morning to go to my in-laws.  My husband would be visiting the cemetery with his parents.  The kiddos and I were left at my in-laws' house because we don't want the kids to catch anything in the cemetery. Just like when A had allergies and was confined at the hospital.  Worst is, she celebrated her 4th birthday there. :(  Anyway, that's why we don't allow the kids to visit the cemetery during these times because they might get allergic to pollen and get sick.

We went home the next day around 5am in the morning since my husband have to go to work. :P

We were invited to my aunt's S birthday lunch.  My mom was in charge of the menu and cooking. (so lahat masarap) I love the fish fillet fritters with mango sauce.  Super yummy!!  (sorry I wasn't able to take some photos)

Halloween... hallawin... halloween

I had my last meeting finished at 6pm.  Thought I could go home early but in fairness to my bosses they get me off immediately. :) 

I was rushing home for our Halloween dinner at my parent's house.  Barbecues, kebab and more barbecues. :)  As usual my husband is late for the dinner again but he told me that he will just catch up with us. (as if)  Anyway, we dressed up the kids and gave them their treats.  My nephew JL just got from a trick or treat event at his mom's workplace.  His pumpkin bag is already full of candies :) I asked my mom to buy my son JT his own Halloween basket.

family time

I just saw this at one of my friends wall in Facebook.  It struck me big time so I have to repost and share it with my friends with note "for workaholics". 

I repost this also because I felt that it is applicable to what I'm feeling right now.  I was not happy when my husband told me that he has to work late for the week.  I do not have problems with that but when you tell me that after a month with no day-off and late night work, it begins to pissed me off.  The kids would normally look for my husband whenever I woke up late with them over the weekend.  They would excitedly look for him because they know that we will be taking them out to eat or play.   Unfortunately, he have to be at work even on Sundays. :( :(

I don't know how my patience is holding up or how much my understanding would take me but I'm pretty disappointed right now that he cannot leave his work to be with us.

I always remember that one cannot have work-life balance because there is no such thing as 50% family, 50% work.  You either decide to which you would give your 100%.  I know exactly where I would give my 100% and that would be for my family.

holidays

It's the last day of my 3-days work week.  Yay!  I got a long weekend ahead and there's so much things to do.  My yaya will be leaving tomorrow so we will be back to bummer-mornings again and I have to do all chores by myself .  I need to get as much energy to get back to usual routine by next week.

Anyway, in line with the All Souls day my dad requested for a Halloween party at their house on November 1.  But due to tight schedule of everyone including my workaholic husband we need to move it earlier tonight instead of tomorrow.  It will be just our usual barbecue nights but of course we ask the kids to dress up for picture taking later with candies to give-away.  Well,  there are only three of them my daughter A, son J and my nephew J. :)  I told my mom that my son J should have his costume as well because I'm sure maiinggit yon.  So we decided to make him wear my nephew's Woody costume. Can't wait to see him later.. he's so adorable! while ate naman is big girl na. :)

My 3-days work week

After 3 days of weekend.. :) My sleep eat pattern at home left me with additional pounds for sure.  Now I'm back at work with just 3-days work since November 1 & 2 are holidays here.  Yay! We will be having our usual halloween party at my parent's home.  Simple barbeque party.. I would love to have a mongolian or mexican party sana. :)  But barbeque is ok.

So when do I start my diet na... hmmm... I don't really really know. I don't seem to stick to it.  Low motivation siguro.  But I need to lose some weight talaga.. :(

My boss will be back today from her Japan trip.  I have prepared my presentation already but it seems that I could not fit into her schedule to present it to her.  Busy.. busy mother bee.. hay.  I hope she doesn't get the impression that I'm not doing my job.  Now, I miss my mall job.  At least there's a lot to see when you're in the mall.  Sa office.. officemates lang. :) 

Anyway, I need to go back to what I'm doing.  :) Ciao

New place

My parents and the kiddos went to visit our 'soon-to-be' new place somewhere in Taguig. My mom was pretty amazed at how nice the community is. Beats our old place big time. At least we don't get to hear the loud vroom vroom from the motorcycle of our neigbors. Or their pets doing their thing within our yard while the owners are watching then leaving us to clean their mess. Sometimes my neighbors are so insensitive.. Or am I being too sensitive?

We went for a stroll around the area and they pretty much like it. My kiddos love the pool and the playground. Gives them something to do. :)

I really hope I can transform this place into our new home. I will definitely miss our old place, our house in phase 6 and most importantly I will be away from my family now. I will dead beat miss them. Well, my dad promised to visit us often. (Remind me to stock my ref) :D

I also found out that one of our relatives live there and one of my college classmate owns a unit also. I got this 'welcome neighbor' message from him.

Life has it

I love to read.. books, magazine, blogs even labels (that is if I really get so bored) :P  I have been addicted to the smell of a new book.  But with technology getting in, I have some of my reading stuff in my ipad.  Cool, in the sense that I could read it even without night light. :) ..which means insomnia.

I love to write. I have begun writing at an early age which reminds me so much of my daughter A.  She loves to write stories, poems and even songs (I'm not good at the song writing part.. lol).  She is very intelligent and artistic.  (probably got it from me)

I love to cook uncomplicated dishes.  Maybe I could share some of our favorite dishes here. My mom is a great cook and if you are dying to know her secrets... well, I won't tell you. But on the second thought.. I might one of these days. :)  A lot of people enjoys my mom's dishes and I would love to share it here... even in pictures and captions lang. :)

I love my coffee cold.  I'm a great fan of Frappucinos.. and recently.. Milk teas. That adds up to my already heavy weight...:P  My hubby J and I loves to dine out.  So I can get to share it here too.. I just love our Fridates..

I have been trying to create and keep a blog for as long as I can remember but I don't seems to get the hang of it.  Busy life maybe or just 'tamad' mode. :P  I hope to keep this one to document and share my simple life enjoying simple things that it has to offer.

I cannot promise you that it won't be boring at times but it's really up to you if you could spare a moment to read my blog.  I actually don't expect to many followers.. lol... just family and few friends.. but I don't mind having fans.. :D

Life has it and I'm going to enjoy every millisecond of it... hoping you are enjoying it too. Ciao!
